Using a Rhyming Dictionary in your rhymes is a good idea. Its a great way to find new words. If you find your running out words in your rhymes pop open a rhyming dictionary and scroll the pages till you find the word your looking for. You can even create your rhymes from scratch just by find rhyming words.
I’ve used rhyming dictionaries in the past and regular Webster Dictionaries in the past as well infact I highly recomend using any tool that enhance your rap craft. It will only make you better over time.
So How Do You Use A Rhyming Dictionary?
First you want to already have an idea of the word your looking for before you begin. So if your in the middle of your rhyme and your having a problem on the next line. Grab your rhyming dictionary and skim through some pages to see what you find. You already know the rhyme sound you want.

Once you locate your rhyming word the next thing to do is to add it to your next line. Make sure it makes since and stays on point. Remember if your rhyme sounds off to you its probably going to sound off to everybody who hears it over a beat. So don’t rush and make sure its how you like it before you proceed to the next line.
